About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

3 Transit stops in China (indian citizen)

Flight: SFO -> CCU
I have 2 transit and 1 technical stop , 16 hours in Shanghai , 8 hours in Kunming and a technical stop in CSX - Changsha.
Total transit time might exceed 24 hours.
Do I need to apply a separate visa?

Yes, you need to apply for transit G type for China.
