About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying from switzerland and back

Hello, if we fly from switzerland to Pekin, stay there 6 days and then fly to shanghai and stay there 5 days and fly back to switzerland can we benefit from the 144 hours twov (since less than 144hours in each town) ?

No. Two stops in China will reduce your period of stay to 24 hours maximum. Also your route does not involve a third country so it's not transit at all .

You need to add a side trip by plane to Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan or another country between your Beijing and Shanghai stops (and actually leave mainland). That or get L visa
