About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hour visa transit. I am a Romanian

Hi,
( European Union Passport holder)and I have a flight from London to Bali and I will be in transit In Guangzhou.
London- Bali , 1h 30 min transit in China
Bali- London , 3h 30 min transit in China

Normally I do not need a visa in China because I am only in transit, but the gap is only 1h 30 minutes on the way to Bali and I cannot miss the plane .

Should I apply for a visa to make sure that I won't miss the plane?
Is it complicated and it takes time to get that free visa once arrived at the airport?

Applying for a visa will do nothing to help you speed up the process as you won't be going through immigration when flying on the same airline, but transit security. Immigration is only involved when you need to enter the country.
