About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

I am travelling to Japan on the 1st week of March through Hong Kong for my annual business visit.

On my return, I would like to visit a business partner in Hong Kong for 2 days. Do I apply a transit or a business visa for this purpose? Also, can I submit my documents at the embassy in Sri Lanka?
