About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cameroon passport holder.

I am planning to travel from canada to vietnam. However, i will have to buy one ticket from canada to hong kong. And another separate ticket from hong kong to vietnam. i am not planning to stay in hong kong. i will most probably have to wait a couple of hours for my flight to vietnam. do i need to apply for a transit g? thank you

Yes, you need a transit visa for HK.

Sorry I misread that you travel on a cameroon pp.
Then you need a transit visa.
