About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Residence permit for spouse

I am working in Tianjin. I got the working and residence permits. Before, when I submitted the materials to get the "notification letter of foreigner's work permit in the PRC" (which specifies that my wife will come to China too), I submitted a certificate of marriage issued in Mexico with no need for legalization; my wife got the S1 with no problem.

My question is: when she arrives and applies for her residence permit, will she need a 'legalized' certificate of marriage? or the unlegalized one will be enough?.

Hi, I think she needs a 'legalized' certificate of marriage. If you are worried, you can contact the processing office to confirm that.
