About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Wife,US passport, I ,Indian passport,US resident,need to stay 20 hrs in Shanghai transit ?

flight San Francisco to Delhi via Shanghai for 20 hrs transit.Will we be allowed to see Shanghai without visa,as we are just transiting without valid entry permit?

You are eligible for 24h twov in Shanghai. Shanghai no longer allows people with layovers for less than 24 hours to clear immigration regardless of nationality. Some reported that bringing a hotel reservation will help.
