i am indian with canadian Permenent resident need transit visa

I am travelling from Dubai to Vancouver through shaengai by china airlines Dubai to shengai and shengai to Vancouver

is transit type needed for that

Boban, you can enjoy 24 hour direct transit in China if you travel like that. No need to apply for a transit G type then.
