About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Same destination as Before

Flying for deutchland to Shanghai and 48h again from shangai (same airport) to deutscland.

Can I apply to the 72h?

Of course not. That's a visit to China and not a transit. You need a visa.

If I Book a new flight in between (eg Hong Kong), can I still come Back to Xangai for the final flight heading home?

In that case I won’t need visa?
