Resedential visa

I'm on a z and have a resedential and work permit. I'm changing jobs. My current contract finishes the 25th of January and new contract starts on the 23rd of February. My current school only wants to give me 10 days on my current resedential permit to apply for my new work Z at the new school. My new school said they can't apply the new work permit that early, only close to my starting date. Thus around 25 days after leaving my current school. Is there any way to extend the residential permit or do something in this situation? Seems as if my current school just wants to make things difficult for me because I'm leaving.

Hi, you are advised to contact the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to inquire if you can extend it. Good luck.

Talk to your new school agian. If they agre to appl for new work pernit on Sunday, Feb 3rd, they will get the new permit on the 20th, as there are 7 non working days then. So it makes only 5 days difference.
