About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

UK citizen travelling London - Guangzhou - Auckland round trip

My outbound journey is 27th February (6hr 10min layover) and I return on the same route on 15th March (3hr 55min layover). I don't intend to exit the airport in Guangzhou on either trip. Do I need a 24 hour free transit for both trips (2 visas) or do I need to purchase only one!

You are qualified for 24h twov in Guangzhou both ways. No need to apply for visa for that.
