What is the recommended weather for visit to Xi’an?

I am residing in Wuhan and have vacations ahead. Am planning to visit Xian. Is it a good time to visit the city during Spring Festival or it may be too crowded during that time.

The temperature may range from -10C to 5C.
Well, to be honest, it may be too crowded during the Spring Festival Holiday. Thus you are suggested to avoid public holidays. :)
