Is it possible to take a normal bus in Guilin in the morning to go to Lhi-Pier or will there be no empty seats? Do the river boat cruises sell tickets in advance without standing in line at the pier as I`m handicapped?How much is the bus resp a taxi from Yangshuo to Guilin? Did anybody use it lately? THANKS!

Yes, it is possible. You are advised to arrive at the bus station early. In this way, there will have enough tickets and seats.As I know, the booking page only has Chinese version. But don't worry. You can buy the cruise tickets and the staff will take good care of you.From Yangshuo to Guilin, the ticket fare is CNY27 per person. If by taxi, the fare is CNY200 to 300.
