About:China Customs Declaration

My 10 year old son is traveling to China to meet friends who live there

And he has a valid passport and visa. He will be traveling with a friend of the family, but not his parents.

Will he need any specific documents to travel into China without his parents?

Generally, there will be not problem but he can take a consent letter from the parents.
