About:Leshan Giant Buddha

How much of the Buddha is covered right now?

Can you elaborate how much of the Buddha is covered right now during the restoration? Is the head visible, as most of the restoration is in the chest and abdomen?

I heard that the most part of the buddha is covered right now. I am afraid that you cannot see the head.

As of last November only the head was exposed---they were working on his body from shoulders down, setting up the scaffolding when we visited. (Nov.20, 2018)
