About:China Family Reunion Visa

Work visa and family reunion one (same nationality)

Hello! I am going back to my country to get my work visa done and my husband is looking to apply for a family reunion entry permit alongside. Will it be possible for him to apply in China? Or does he have to go back too? In both cases, how long would it take? Especially if we go with the second option. I understood that I can get my work entry permit, come back to China; and he'd have to wait 2 more weeks before getting his Q and join me. Is that true?

Your feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you!

It's possible for your husband to change the current visa into family reunion one at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can succeed, he doesn’t need to go back to your home country for that.
