New Zealand citizen Australian resident

Hi my family and I will be traveling to China but I noticed on the application it asks for proof of residence if applying outside the passport I hold. My problem is 1978 when we arrived there was no Visa needed so not sure how to prove or do I need to prove ? Please help me I'm stressing over this

If so, you can contact the visa office to inquire that. Good luck.

Were it asks for your citizenship number on the Visa application put not applicable that is what I did as I'm a new Zealand citizen but Australia resident. Shouldn't have a problem if there are any other questions please just ask
