About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour transfer visa application place

Hello,

we will be in Beijing arriving from Japan on March 28th and leaving Beijing on March 31st to go to Singapore (72 hours).

Do we have to apply for the transfer visa before we leave the US or do we apply for it when we arrive in Beijing?

Let airline know when you check-in in Japan that you will be transiting to Singapore. Then once you land you can apply for the temporary stay permit to leave the airport. Have copy of reservation with ticket number.
