About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Which visas do we need

Flying to hongkong via Beijing with air China on 14/3. Staying in Hong Kong 2 days going on a cruise and going to Shanghai Quinsdao and Beijing and then Japan. Flying back from Tokyo on 1/4 via Beijing what sort of vis do we require? We are both British. Thanks

You need a visa for that. As UK citizens, you can apply for 2 years multiple entries one from the CVASC.
