VOA refused if you have certain passport stamps?

Hi, it is very likely that I will be in Hong Kong at the start of March and I was going to visit Shenzhen while there. I am an Irish passport holder but have tourist visa stamps from countries like Turkey, UAE, Jordan and Lebanon. I heard that I may be refused the entry permit as a result. Can this be confirmed or would I be okay?
