About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Transit Visa and fingerprints

I am travelling from Vancouver Canada to Singapore, with a one day stop over in Beijing. I was planning to spend my time in Beijing visiting with a transit g. Do I need to get fingerprinted in Vancouver to get a transit visa? Do I need a appointment to get fingerprints done in Vancouver?

You are eligible for the free transit in Beijing. No need to apply for a transit G type. Don't worry.
