Do we need to apply for a Chinese Visa ?
We are US citizen. We plan to fly from San Francisco to Hong Kong, then to cruise from Hong Kong on February 2 to other countries but will arrive to Shanghai on February 17, then the cruise continues to Quingdao and Beijing and Korea and back to Shanghai on March 3rd (within 15 days). In addition, we would like to stay 4 nights (within 144 hours limit) in Shanghai and leave Shanghai via Hong Kong back to San Francisco.
Do we need to apply for a multiple entries Chinese entry permit?
