Does this itinerary require a Chinese visa ?

I will be flying from Canada on Air Canada to Shanghai landing on January 31/19 and staying in a hotel in Shanghai for 3 nights and then boarding the Celebrity Cruise ship “ Constellation” which makes one day stop in Hong Kong and then going to Vietnam, Thailand for ports of call and ending 14 days later in Singapore...
