About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

Chinese Z visa. Hi, I have a 12 months contract to work in China next year.

Should I apply for 12 month multi-entry or 6 months multi-entry? Will it be possible for me to extend it while in China with my residence permit?
Thanks

You can just apply for a single entry work Z type. After you get it, you can get a Chinese residence permit which is valid for one year or more after entry to China.
