About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Denied Boarding

Hi I’m a British passport holder

I have just been denied boarding a flight from London > Beijing > Shenzhen > New Zealand. Total time in China would have been 12 hours.

They said I was unable to make multiple stops within China when flying into Beijing.

Is this correct?

Thanks

This is not correct.

Didn't the airline check TIMATIC at the check-in?

Yeah they said they did. I even spoke to a manager who was not helpful. They took my boarding passes. I had to book another flight.

It's not correct. What airline was this? It would be useful to know for future travellers.
