what is the difference between Chinese X2 visa expiry date and duration of stay?

i have X2 of China. it is written on it that i has Issue Date : 12 Oct 2018, Expiry Date: 12 Jan 2019, Duration of stay: 120 days. Now i am confused that should i leave china before 12 January 2019, or i can stay for 120 days? 120 days finish on 12 Feb 2019. please guide in this regard

Your current X2 type allows you to enter China before 12 Jan 2019 and you can stay for 120 days in mainland China from the entry date.
