Lost certificate of my degree

I have been invited by a school to teach English in China, I have lost my original degree of my Degree, would a letter from my University stating I have obtained my degree as they do not do re prints. Would a lieu from my university be efficient?

You are advised to contact your employer to inquire that. Because as I know, your employer will apply the work permit for you, which is necessary for applying the work Z type visa.
