About:Guangzhou to Hong Kong Train

Is it really necessary to reach the station 2 hours in advance?

The trip from HK to Guangzhou itself only take 1 hour!

The process before boarding takes longer time than the train trip itself :-(. Since passengers need to go through immigration check, they request passengers to be there 45min in advance. To make sure you can get the paper tickets 45min before departure, it is necessary to be there earlier in case you need time to line up for the collection.
