Can i extend my S2 visa ?

hello, My S2 will expire In February 11, can I extend my visa since I have to wait for my renew passport to arrived probably on Feb 12 to March maybe I am not sure.I only have single entry so need to exit china and get another S2 to HK.It is better to use my change status passport so that my new entry permit will be place in the new one.Can I apply a multiple entry S2? This will be my 3rd time entry permit anyway. Thank you

You can try to extend your S2 type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China.
