About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa waiver called Transit with out Visa or Visa Free Transit

We are arriving from the USA. We will be staying at a hotel in Shanghai for 3 nights. Then, we will be boarding a cruise ship in Shanghai and the first country/port we will be stopping at is Nagasaki, Japan. The next stop will be Busan, So. Korea. That means that we are eligible to qualify for the twov waiver called twov or Free Transit. Correct?
I need to make arrangements for a shuttle to take us to the hotel we will be staying at in Shanghai. Would 1.5 hours, after arrival in Shanghai, be sufficient time to notify the shuttle company to pick us up and take us to the hotel?

should be long enough. Just make sure flight to Shanghai also does not stop in Japan.
