I hold a Nigerian Passport, can i apply for work visa through your country?

I have limited time between work resumption and the time used in flying back and applying in my home country. Is it possible? I currently hold a valid student resident permit.
I meant can a Nigerian passport holder apply for a Chinese work Z from Hongkong or Vietnam

It would be possible. If you want to apply for work Z type in HK, you can try to submit the application to the office of the commissioner of the ministry of foreign affairs of PRC in HK SAR for that.
