About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

L VISA convert to Temporary Residence Permit

I will be entering China for 6 months with Z (work permit) and later apply for temporary residence permit. My wife will come along with me by using the L. So, am I allow to apply her the temporary residence permit too upon arrival in Chengdu, thank you!

Your wife doesn't need to apply for Chinese residence permit after her entry. But if you don't stay in hotel in China, she needs to to go to the local police station to register after she enter.
