About:Chinese Embassy in Colombia

Visa doiubts

Hi, hold dual nationality ( American and Colombian) and currently living in China. In the following months i am planning to bring my wife upon the s1. But i am not sure which of the required documents for such visa must be legalized with the colombian and chinese embassy. On the other hand, if things does not go as expected taking into account the application will be made in Colombia ( all processes there are such a nightmare) we are contemplating to have my fiance to apply for a tourist L and transfer to s1 once we get to MAINLAND cHINA. dOES THIS TOURIST L HAVE more than one entry?. In case they need to see an invitation letter, does it need to be made in English or chinese?

You can try to apply for double or multiple entries tourist L type, and then try to convert it into S type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB after entering China. You can find invitation sample at this website, and then download it and fill it out for your use.
