About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

24 hour and 72 hour transit visa via guangzhou international airport

All flights on China Southern Airline

20/12/2018 Sydney 11:25 – Guangzhou 17:35
21/12/2018 Guangzhou 8:45am - Bangkok 10:50
Overnight stay, will apply 24 hour free transit

02/01/2019 Singapore 13:30 – Guangzhou 17:35
05/01/2019 Guangzhou 7:30am - New Delhi India 12:35pm
Will apply for 72 hour free transit

10/1/2019 New Delhi India 12:35 – Guangzhou 20:10
11/1/2019 Guangzhou 21:00 – Sydney 9:25
Will apply 24 hour free transit? OR 72 Hours free transit ?
(24 hour free transit requires 24hour period from landing time to departure time – it will be just over 24 hours period from 20:10 on 10/1/2019 to 21:00 on 11/1/2019), I think I may need to apply 72 hours twov.

Is there any problem to the above transit visas? I am concerned the above itinerary as it has multiple stops in china, will that affect the transit visa, particular for 72hours free transit?
Thanks

You don't need a transit visa for it.

You don’t need a visa and you don’t need to apply for anything. Your passport will be stamped with either 24 or 72 hours depending on the length of your transit, and you don’t get a choice.
