About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I get the visa twice

I am travelling from Australia to London (return) and will be stopping over in Shanghai on the way there and Beijing on the way back. Is it possible to get the 72 hour free transit both ways? The stops in China will be 3 weeks apart.
