About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flight NZ to Beijing with connection in Shanghai

Hi, I've return flights from Dublin to Beijing and on to Auckland with Aeroflot and China Eastern.
The outward leg is straightforward and should be eligible for the 72 hour Free transit.

The return leg flights are MU780 from Auckland via Shanghai - landing at 9am - and MU51129 departing for Beijing at 11:25am on the same morning, arriving about 2pm.
I fly out at noon the following day for Dublin.
Can I avail of the 72 hour Visa Free Transit on the return trip?

No. If your transit involves two or more stops in Mainland China you must get a visa.
