About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

Z visa. Just to let you know that I entered Chian on 15th September 2017 with two months on F.

On 15th November (on way back to my country), I was at airport and and had connection flight first from beijing (15th Nov 3.20pm) and second flight from hongkong (15th Nov 10 pm). So it was not the airline fault.and even immigration officer told that I overstayed 1 day and took signature on a form and was allowed to clear immigration with out any fine.
1. Is there any chances of my reentry ban for any specific period? Is it based on case basis? In my cases what might be the consequences?
2. I told employer to check with entry and exit police border regarding my case with my passport number. And they said they will enquiry.( They are in the process of getting work permit which I might get in 14 days)
3. I am foreigner researcher with age 34 and female who has earned PhD degree from.china and has vast research experience abroad.
4. It's hard to get information about my application rejection here and The CVASC also not providing information and telling that it depends on China consulate discussion.
Any idea from your side
Thank you

In your case you weren't banned but were given a warning instead. The consequence is that you will be banned from using visa-free transit for 5 years which means you will not be allowed to leave the airport without a visa while in transit. Whether this will affect your future visa applications depends on the consular officers who grant visas on a case-to-case basis. Your background is irrelevant as Z visa applicants are not vetted by the visa office but by the local foreign experts bureau or the local labor bureau.
