About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Passport expiry in 5 months after travel date

Will there be a problem in entry to China when my passport expires a few days short of 6 months? Should i get approval from the consulate? I've already booked my tickets and made entry permit. And, there is no time to renew my passport.

If you already got the Chinese visa, I think you would be fine for entering China with the passport with less than 6 months validity. But if possible, you are advised to renew it before your departure.
