About:China Transit Visa

Hong Kong - Guangzhou - France

I am a French citizen with Hong Kong non-permanent ID card and working visa up to July 2019.

My travel itinerary is
Hong Kong to Guangzhou (by train - High Speed Rail Link).
Less than 24 hours later: Guangzhou - France (by plane).

Then on the way back:
France - Guangzhou (by plane) and same day Guangzhou - Hong Kong.

Do I need a transit g? If not, what document do I need to present at the border?

Thanks a lot.

You don't need a visa because you can get free transit in Guangzhou in both ways. You need to show valid passport and confirmed onward ticket after transiting Guangzhou.
