About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

We have purchased tickets:

Vilnius (Republic of Lithuania) -Pekin (transfer) Beijing-Sydney and back. Flights are with different airlines, connections are not longer than 72 hours. I would like to ask whether such a flight will be treated transit or the need to obtain entry permit?

You don't need to obtain visa for the trip as you are able to use the free transit in Beijing.
