About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Sample itinerary from UK

Just to clarify, if I may.

LHR (via HEL)>PVG (3 days)>HKG (2 days) >(via HEL) LHR

this is ok to qualify for the transit visa in Shanghai?

all flights are on the same itinerary via finnair.

If you have a passport from one of the 53 qualifying countries, you won't need a visa for HEL-PVG (144 hours)-HKG.
