About:China Visa

Just another quick question

So to get out of Shanghai if I purchase a ticket to Hong Kong will that suffice? It's still China. Then have standby tickets to LAX or SFO from Hong Kong. Or would it be better to go to Japan or S. Korea from Shanghai? Thanks again for your assistance.

If the trip would be USA-Shanghai-HK, and you must have a confirmed ticket, not standby, you can use the free transit policy in Shanghai.
