guangzhou - guilin train tickets

Hello, I'm in Guangzhou and I'would like to go to Guilin next Saturday. It is necessary to book the ticket by credit card or I can buy at the Guangzhou South Railway station?

If you are flexible with the travel time, it is OK to buy it at station directly. If you need to travel at an appoint time, it would be better to book it in advance to guarantee availability.
