About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Hong Kong Visa. I live in Melbourne now

and I have a Sri Lankan passport. I have a 3 day layover in Hong Kong. I want to leave the airport. Do I apply for a transit or tourist entry permit? Can I also apply at the Chinese consulate?

If it's a transit in HK, you can apply transit visa at the Chinese consulate.
