About:Chinese Embassy in Brunei

I am Brunei ICI passort holder

do i need to apply a transit entry permit (KL to HK)
for an hour then HK to Vancouver?

If you have Brunei passport, you can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of not more than 90 days. No HK visa will be required for your trip.
