About:China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

Residance type change

I am a Ph.D. student who finished my degree, and now applying for post-doctoral in a different province in China, can I able to directly go there and apply for a residence permit, or I need to back to my country and apply for a new visa and back to China again?

Personally I think you are able to directly go there and apply or renew a residence permit. If you are worried, you can call them to inquire beforehand.
