About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

2 day stay in Shanghai prior to cruise leaving from Shanghai

I am flying to Shanghai from the US. I am staying in Shanghai for 2 days prior to leaving on a cruise that departs from Shanghai. Do I need to get a China entry permit?

If the next country or region after Shanghai is not USA, you can get free transit in Shanghai. No visa will be needed.
