About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

My boyfriend is teaching in China. My visa will only let me visit for two months.

We don't feel ready to get married yet but we want to live together. I am financially independent. What type of entry permit should I apply for to live there for 1 year?

If you don't work or study in mainland China, you can apply for a one year multiple entries visa for that.

Thank you very much for your answer. I have a visa with multiple entries...but would like to live there. Thanks...I think it is not possible without getting married or getting a job. Thanks...I will read your detailed answer...new legislation, etc. I appreciate your help!
