About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit. We are German and Austrian passport holder.

We will arrive from Teheran to Urumqi with a stop of 1.5 hours, a domestic flight to Guangzhou and then from there to Singapore. In total we have 12 hours between arriving in China and leaving it again. Are we entitled for A TWVO and what is there to do on the airport itself? We read about soldiers that only let you pass through immigration desks once you showed the visa. Thank you!

Hi, personally I think you are entitled for A TWVO in mainland China. You can use Timatic to check that, which is an IATA database which airlines use.
