About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I am a US citizen currently in JP. Do I need to buy my plane ticket before applying for my visa?

I am applying for a Tourist L. Do I need any documentation other than my US Passport?

You can provide the reservation list of the air tickets for the application. After you get the visa, you can pay money to buy your tickets.
